Tulin Bragg has been appointed to the Deputy Principal, Head of Teaching and Learning at Malek Fahd Islamic School, starting on June 6th. Tulin will be responsible for Teaching and Learning from Kindergarten to Year 12 and be a member of the Executive team. Tulin has a passion for the new vision and direction the school is taking to be more inclusive, and she believes she can play a critical role in exploring opportunities to support all learners in education.
As an internal candidate, I was initially reluctant to apply through an agency for the role of Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning at MFIS. Acknowledgement of my application was made quickly, and it was evident that all applicants were valued. My initial interview with Liam reassured me that I had the necessary qualifications and experience. This gave me incredible confidence going into the first panel interview. Liam’s professionalism in supporting me through the anxiety of the second panel interview was critical. His advice to treat it like a “conversation with some colleagues” allowed me to reimagine the interview as an opportunity to showcase my expertise.
