Paul Corkill, the new Director Risk Assurance & Standards at Solar Victoria

Develop and implement Solar Victoria’s risk and assurance framework

Paul Corkill, recently appointed Director Risk Assurance & Standards at Solar Victoria, responsible for developing and implementing risk and assurance mechanisms.

Paul brings considerable experience in the administration and implementation of complex regulatory programs. Responsible for the development and delivery of high-profile government projects within the transport portfolio, Paul has managed risk and delivered several audit and assurance programs. In his most recent role at Transport Certification Australia, Paul was responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive risk based and data led audit program. Prior, Paul led the legal and regulation stream to deliver technical advice on the impact of the existing regulatory framework for the Victorian Taxi Industry Inquiry, following his role as Manager Accreditation and Licensing, leading a multi-disciplinary team. At the Taxi Service Commission, he was also chair of the risk management and audit committee. Earlier in his career, Paul managed safety systems and risk at Transport (Marine) Safety Victoria, responsible for the assurance program and overseeing authorised training providers.
