Ms. Jo-anne Chapman has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of General Practice Registrars Australia
With over ten years’ executive experience in the health, community and education sectors, Jo-anne has a broad understanding of health policy, including rural health, health workforce, and programs having held CEO, Senior Executive/Advisory and Advocacy roles. Her broad experience in health, education, policy, advocacy and corporate governance makes her well suited to navigate GPRA in the next chapter of its existence.
Jo-anne has significant experience working across a variety of organisations particularly government and not-for-profit sectors. Currently as General Manager with the Victorian Tasmanian Primary Health Network Alliance, Jo-anne is responsible for fostering partnerships with key stakeholders for the effective delivery of Victorian and Tasmanian PHN Alliance efforts within primary health care and leads the jurisdictional coordination between them on behalf of all 7 PHNs.
Earlier in her career Jo-anne was CEO of LGPro, a member organisation representing local government professionals from 79 Victorian councils and before this was General Manager, Government and External Relations at St Vincent’s Health Australia.
