After launching a new strategy, our client needed to engage an experienced and commercially focused Interim Finance Executive, capable of reviewing the existing finance structure and providing a transformation roadmap aligned to the new strategy. The ability to work strategically to review, plan and lead a step change for the finance and broader organisation was essential. 

THE SOLUTION​

We conducted intensive assessment interviews, contacted over 15 potential Interim Finance Executives and produced a curated shortlist of five Interim Finance Executives well aligned well for this challenging brief within just 5 days.

The successful candidate was an experienced senior interim CFO, COO and restructuring specialist with a proven track record across private and public sectors. Although based in Sydney NSW, he commuted to Melbourne for the duration of the interim assignment.

THE IMPACT​

Given the Interim Executive’s experience from over seven interim engagements across Australia, he was able to quickly establish the terms of reference for the engagement, and mobilise key stakeholders including the current finance team and operations. Within three months, he successfully produced a transformation roadmap and detailed implementation plan for the incoming COO and CFO to execute.
