THE CHALLENGE

The Gig Executive team was engaged by highly regarded Anglican Girls School to assist with the urgent appointment of an Interim Finance Manager.​ Following the departure of the permanent Finance Manager, an immediate need was identified to bring in a seasoned interim Finance Manager with independent school experience able to work closely with the Director of Business to manage the financial operations of the School and lead the finance team during a period of transition.​

THE SOLUTION​

With tight timelines in place, the Gig Executive team screened our extensive ecosystem and conducted a rapid search and quickly produced an assessed short list of candidates with proven success in finance roles within the independent school sector. ​

The Gig Executive placed is passionate about the education sector and had over 10 years’ experience working as a Head of Finance across government and independent schools, providing him with a clear understanding of the complex way schools function within the independent sector and enable the financial effectiveness of the  school to be maintained during an important period ​

THE IMPACT​

The successful Gig Executive commenced in the role within 2 weeks of the initial client briefing. Our team worked in partnership with the Business Manager and Head of People and Culture to facilitate this quick turnaround with rapid references, security checks and ongoing support for the school and the Gig Executive candidate. ​
